Principal's Message

Portrait of a smiling woman with shoulder-length salt-and-pepper hair, wearing hoop earrings and a gold patterned scarf. She is looking directly at the camera indoors, with a softly blurred background.
I am honored and privileged to serve as the Principal of Linda Verde Dual Immersion Elementary School!   I am passionate about seeing children learn and leading and supporting staff and the parent community to ensure students are academically and socially emotionally successful. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the California State University of Northridge.  I then received my teaching credential alongside my master's degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from California State University of Bakersfield.  Several years later, I decided to return to acquire my Administrative credential through Concordia University in Irvine.  I have served in the Lancaster School District for 24 years as an educator, and I am proud to say that I wish to continue with this passion for supporting and educating our students, who are our future leaders.

Our highly qualified and compassionate teachers provide an innovative and rigorous academic program tailored to the unique needs of our students. Our educational goal is to make learning so exciting that students will experience the joy of discovering new ideas and building new skills and develop a love for learning they will carry with them throughout their lives.

We welcome you to join us in this great adventure, as we know, takes a village to raise our future leaders.

Sincerely,

Leslie Ruvalcaba, Principal
